Rocksteady Remote Learning

Time for your child’s weekly boost of music and fun!

This week’s lesson:

This afternoon your child can watch LESSON FOUR in their Rocksteady Remote Learning journey, where we will be taking on ‘The Other Side’ by SZA and Justin Timberlake. If you can’t tune in live or missed any of the previous lessons or bonus content, don’t worry you can still catch-up with everything online whenever you like.

Band Leader Videos – We hope your child enjoys their second Band Leader challenge, visit https://vimeo.com/500933185/2a0cc9082d to find out about this week’s fun challenge. If you took part in the first challenge, look out for the answer in this week’s lesson.

Preview of the Hoodie design:
To celebrate your child’s hard work, at the end of this half term, subscribers will be able to claim a free Limited Edition Hoodie for their child, check out the rest of this email to see a sneak preview of the design!

More details about this weeks lesson:
Band Leader Paul will be teaching your child about chords and harmony. They will learn the difference between major and minor chords and how to recognise them. Plus discover how chords and harmony are used in bands to make songs sound amazing.

Hoodie Design Revealed:
As promised, here’s a glimpse of how the Limited Edition hoodie design is looking so far. The final design may vary slightly, but we hope you like it. It’s been designed especially for children who have done Rocksteady Remote Learning for the whole of this half term. (Don’t worry, we won’t be checking how many lessons you have watched or how many Band Leader Challenges you have completed – life is complicated enough at the moment!).

Look out for an email towards the end of half term which will give you details of how to tell us your child’s size and where you would like the hoodie sent. You can show your child the design now or keep it as a surprise, it’s completely up to you!
